Who knows what the future will hold for VW. They have introduced a sport version of the Beetle so they obviously intend to develop it. This model will be my own concept and is not based on anything known to be being worked on by VW themselves. It will be based on a Scalextric Beetle Cabriolet and will have a number of customisations based on current trends and anything else I can model. |

It will be a 2 seater, with individual rollover bars and stream lined cowling, fly catcher type windscreen, lower spoilers all round. There will be at least one spoiler at the back with its supports coming from the wings. I saw a picture of a concept car with this rear wing arrangement but cannot remember where or who made it. |
