Corporal Cheery/Cheri Littlebottom

littlebottom

This figure started as Games Workshop dwarf with a little round helmet and iron boots. I cannot remember what the right arm was doing originally, but it has been modified to hold the pigeon box.

I bent the figure's toes down and added a small amount of milliput under the heels and shaped to give her high heels.

The figure already had a knee length jacket under the body armour so with a little filing and milliput I removed the coat fastenings to make it look like a skirt.

The pigeon box is made from a box from a plastic kit with air holes drilled in.

An iconograph (on her back) was added after being carefully cut from a Twoflower figure. The straps for it were made from milliput. It would have been more realistic to have used thin card for the straps but having worked with Game's Workshop figures for so long now I am more used to their chunkier style.

The figure already had plaits in the beard so I added some ribbons and bows of milliput. I also filed off the eyebrows before painting as Littlebottom is an alchemist. Littlebottom was painted with bright red lipstick and nail varnish, overdone mascara and eye shadow.

She is the first female dwarf to make a point of her femaleness, to the disgust of all the other dwarfs, and Carrot. She is friendly and hardworking, and a dab hand at detecting arsenic. She is friends with Angua.

Small worried face with long beard. ear-rings, lipstick, mascara and nail varnish. Assumed to have the normal alchemist trademarks of no eyebrows and stains on hands. Little round iron helmet, hard wearing brown leather skirt that just covered her knees and iron boots with high heels welded on. Later had the shape of her breastplate subtly altered. probably by the same armourer as Angua and carries her two semaphore paddles tucked into her belt. Telescope. Crossbow.

When in Bonk she wore evening dress consisted of a red dress which touched the ground, feathers and a bag to carry a very large glittery axe, all covered in sequins. Sybil suggested a smaller axe with a few rubies set in the handle would be more appropriate.
