Librarian

librarian librarian The Clarecraft figure. He can be left as he is but to make him a true Watch Officer a piece of wire round his neck with a badge of a small disc of card was added. I have also moved his arms down from above his head.

Librarian

He may be Dr Horace Worblehat, B Thau, D.M., born in Moon Pond Lane, A-M. In the Light Fantastic he was transformed to a orang-utan since when he had resisted all attempts to turn him back, explaining in sign-language that life as an orang-utan was considerably better than life as a human being, because all the big philosophical questions resolved themselves into wondering where the next banana was coming from.

Brown eyes, yellow teeth, black leather paws, purple finger nails, black toenails and red hair. Weighs 300lb and has the rubber sack filled with water look of a full grown male but not the over large cheek pads. Wears a green cloth when is likely to be seen by anyone.

Has a book lined cubby-hole under the desk in the middle of the library with a tattered blanket to hide under when worried. It has a copy of the poster for the "Blown Away" film produced in Holy Wood. He comes across as a very caring creature but calling him a monkey usually results in the speaker being hit over the head with a very heavy object, usually his fist.

Drinks pints at the Mended Drum, eats all their peanuts and spends some time playing on the arcade machine they had installed. Swings from the rafters during brawls

When in the Watch, as a Special Constable, he wears his badge tied round his neck on a piece of string. Plays cards with Nobby.

He is very musical, playing the giant organ in the Unseen University, joined the band in Soul Music where he played the skeleton of a piano balanced on beer kegs, and played the organ for the Opera House (Mas p255) when he wore a bow tie and has a bag of peanuts. When the ghost is being chased he has bow tie around his head like a kamikaze pilot.

IN L&L p109/79 he had a bright new collar round his neck with the word "Pongo" on it. (Taxonomic name for orangutans is - pongo pygmaeus.

He was correctly identified as an orangutan, Pongo Pongo, native of Bhang Bhangduc and nearby islands by AE Pessimal, when he joined the Specials, and given a pat on the head and a banana skin as a reward.
