Lance-Constable
Delphine Angua von Uberwald
Angua
Figure one is an old Games Workshop female fighter. I removed
the horns from the helmet and added a collar round her neck with
her badge hanging from it. She was painted based on the Kirby
book covers with the purple leggings/stockings. Her hair is blond
but has a darker streak down the back similar to the dark ridge
along the back of her in wolf form.
Figure two is from the Games Workshop WH40K series, a pet wolf of Leman Russ,
which already had a collar with large disc attached sculpted onto
it. It was painted using wolf pictures as a reference but using
yellows and browns in place of the greys to give a blond wolf
finish.
Figure three is also a old Games Workshop figure, this time
from a range of Barbarian figures. She had less clothes on than
figure one and with a milliput blanket draped around her body
appears to be nude. The hair is similar to figure one but has a
more dishevelled look to it. Again a collar and badge were added
round her neck.
The final image is her pile of discarded clothes, helmet and
boots all carefully cut from another copy of the original
used for figure one. (sorry about the quality of the picture)

Gaspode is simply a small 25mm scale dog of a terrier type
breed. He is included here as he would like to be a close personal friend of Angua. |

Design Notes
Angua
Angua is a well developed young girl with a mass of
long ash blond hair. Shoe size 6. Because of her monthly
problem she wears her watch badge on a collar round her
neck. Badge numbers are not mentioned in the books but
Clarecraft gave her 247 on their model. Being a werewolf
does have some advantages, she could rip out a mans jugular
if she felt like it and can smell colours (although a
great sense of smell can become a burden when Gaspode
insists on hanging around you). Also criminal have become
wise to her presents and have taken to dropping little
flasks of pure peppermint or aniseed oil to confuse her.
She usually ends up with a terrible headache with the
confusion of criss-crossed trails. She retains her human
intellect in wolf form. Has a pigeon named Wilhelmina.
Her dog shape is a sleek golden pedigree wolfhound who
looks as if it's ancestors had been long-haired Klatchistan
hunting dogs - graceful and all nose and hair. As a were
wolf the hair on her spine stands out like a saw blade
and her lips curled back like a wave to reveal white fangs
in a long muzzle. Her blond coat round the ears is long
enough to be a mane. Angua uses Willard Brothers 'Good
Girl' Flea Shampoo as it brings out the gloss in her co..
hair .
By time of Thud she has stashes of changes of clothes
around the city and also had a little leather bag which
held a lightweight silk dressand a large bottle of mouthwash.
when a wolf she could carry the bag clenched in her jaws.
Also worn on her collar was a watch with a little black
and white side moon that turned round every 28 days, given
to her by Carrot. The girls at the Pink PussyCat loaned
her a gold sequinned dress that just didn't work and 6"
heels that she ended up carrying.
Her parents live near to Bonk in Uberwald the setting
for the Fifth Elephant.
Family motto "Homo Homini Lupus" Every
man is a wolf to another man.
Father Baron Guye von Uberwald k/a Silvertail. Large heavy
set wolf. Enormous man, not fat, not tall, just 1/10 over
scale with a large red face insofar as a face could be
seen under his beard, hair, moustache and eyebrows which
were engaged in a bitter four way battle for the remaining
areas of skin. Small remnants of face peeking out in narrow
gap between moustache and eyebrows. Very strong hand shake.
Wore a tattered old dressing gown with a cord at home.
Mother Mme (Lady) Serafine Soxe-Bloonberg von Uberwald
k/a Yellowfang of Genua. Looks like Angua padded with
age. Wore a long green gown which was very old fashioned
by Ankh-Morpork standards.
Wolfgang von Uberwald - her brother. Well built muscular
body with blond hair on his head and down and across his
shoulders. Could perform one-handed handstands and press-ups.
Black clad, heavily built young man with slightly long
incisors and blond hair thick around the collar. Clothes
more of a uniform with nickel insignias of a Wolf head
biting lightning. (Flag like this in red and black flown
at home). Clicked his heels as a form of greeting. Stance
of Angua, it was the poised fight or flight look, the
whole body was a spring eager to unwind and flight wasn't
an option. Orange glowing eyes. When confused, just before
his death, he had wolf ears on a human head, hair around
him like a mane, patches of fur tufted on his skin mostly
streaked with blood, one arm was trying to be a paw. As
a wolf had pale gold hair in a sort of mane like a heavier
set Angua.
Brother Andrei and Sister Elsa, both yennork i.e. a werewolf
that doesn't change. Elsa remained human and was killed
by Wolfgang and Andrei ran away before he was killed and
became a champion sheepdog in Borogravia.
Werewolves need fire or silver to kill them. They heal quickly and Wolf was stronger than Carrot.
Gaspode
When he was a pup, Gaspode was thrown into the Ankh along with a brick in the sack,
luckily it being the Ankh he didn't sink. Small bow-legged and walks with a swagger. A dust ball with a hangover, apology for a tail. Was 7 years old when introduced in Moving Pictures as Gaspode the Wonder Dog trying to break into the clickies. There never were any parts for a cynical bundle of dust and fleas, even if he could talk and play the harmonica.
He is possibly a terrier and is variously coloured,
mainly a rusty grey. As well as fleas he suffered with
hard pad, soft pad, scurf, the swinge, licky end, crusted
yellow eyes, arthritis, rotting teeth, bad breath, scroff,
mange and something rather strange on the back of his
neck that he just couldn't reach. Back in Ankh-Morpork
he established a friendship with Carrot who had an irresistible
urge to keep giving the shabby little mongrel at his feet
a biscuit. Gaspode also became very keen on Angua especially
in her werewolf form. He is small enough for a wolf to
pick up by the scruff of the neck and carry. His tongue
hangs out when he's in a hurry.
He has joined Foul 'ole Ron and his band of misfits by the time of Feet of Clay. Ron usually had him on a lead made out of inexpertly knotted pieces of string tied to a string collar. Ron kept hold of the string with his hand in his coat pocket so only the sleeve and string show. Gaspode walks with a limp and in a kind of oblique fashion.
His disguise as Tixiebell was done by the Le Poil du Chien doggie beauty salon. It was a pink poodle shaped, topiary effect with a tail with a fluffy knob on the end. The front looked like he had been fired through a large pink ball but had only got halfway. Large glittery collar.
Begging- sits on hind legs and whined pitifully when anyone passed. Has a grubby cloth cap and had written himself on the pavement in damp chalk "Plese Help This LiTTle doGGie"
