Piggle is shown on his return to action following his little accident. "Two Swords" has kindly provided him with an Agatean nagynata as compensation for his injury and so that he can keep out of sword range in a fight.

Specials
Specials - At the time of Thud they were technically the Citizens Militia and were mostly men who were disqualified from formal Watch membership by way of shape, profession age or sometimes brain. They sometimes brought their own equipment which was always better than the Watch issue. Some clanged more than dwarfs with, patent handcuffs, complicated nightsticks, comfy padded helmets and pencils that wrote underwater.
Andy Hancock k/a 'Two Swords'
He destroyed three training dummies in half an hour, each nearly last a month under normal training, which earned him his nickname. He is a special and also works for the Clacks. Amiable bearded man with an amiable smile and cutlery about his person than was good for Vimes' mental health. Two curved Agatean swords strapped across his back as used by Agatean ninja. Agatean numkutts like two truncheons joined together with a length of chain.
Special Constable Piggle
'Two Swords' had accidentally cut something off but what not stated. Igor said the clean cut made it one of his easiest reattachments.
Mr Boggis
In chain mail jacket and brown bowler hat. Two narrow eyed, stony-jawed men on either side of him who had refused any weapons or armour. One cleaning finger nails with a cut-throat razor. Vinny 'No Ears' Ludd and Harry 'Can't Remember His Nickname' Jones.
Willikins
The Vimes' butler was an Acting-Constable in the Specials.
